 In December 2004, I resigned my position as Head, Office of History with the Church of Christ in Thailand (CCT) and returned to the United States to seek employment in the Presbyterian Church (USA). I ended up as interim minister of the Holly Presbyterian Church (HPC), Holly, Michigan, and the following July returned to Chiang Mai for a visit. In the midst of a hectic month, I undertook to write HeRB 13, which proved to be a hasty and not very well thought out project. In this revised #13, I have retained the Short Notes (2005), News & Notes (2005), and the review of Moffett's A History of Christianity in Asia, vol. II from the original HeRB 13. I trust that this reincarnated HeRB 13 will prove more useful to readers.
